Vendor Application Form

Welcome to the Downtown Chilliwack Community Market (DCCM)!

Our local food producers and vendors play a pivotal role in making DCCM the vibrant hub that it is. Together, we aim to nourish not only bodies but also relationships, lives, and livelihoods. The vendors who grace our market share our commitment to local food security, education, accessibility, environmental stewardship, inclusion, and community.

By participating in DCCM, you’re not just selling products – you’re bridging the gap between the food we eat and the incredible individuals who make, bake, wild harvest, or grow it. So, mark your calendars and join us every week at the Downtown Chilliwack Community Market.

The DCCM acknowledges that this market takes place on S’olh Temexw – the traditional and unceded territory of the Stó:lo Peoples and Skwah First Nation. We also acknowledge that many forms of agriculture as we know it is a food system that was not traditionally adopted by the First Peoples here. It’s important that while we support local farming and farmers, we also promote the protection of these traditional food systems.

Are you a vendor and identify as Indigenous? We want to work with you! DCCM’s core values are to make space for reconciliation and community building. If you are Indigenous, we offer to waive our fee for your participation.

If you feel you and your products are a good fit for the DCCM, please apply. If not, help us understand why by emailing info@dccm.ca – If you have any questions, feel free to email us.

Let the festivities begin, and let’s create lasting connections and memories in the heart of our beloved Chilliwack community!

– Stall spaces must be paid for in advance to secure your schedule.  Do not assume your schedule has been approved if you don’t receive confirmation. Vendors must cancel or reschedule at least one week before their scheduled market date.

– Cancellations are refunded at 50% of fees paid. Refunds are processed once in July and once in October. We encourage rescheduling dates. See the full cancellation policy for details.

– The DCCM uses Farmers Market Nutrition Coupon Program by BCAFM: The Farmers’ Market Nutrition Coupon Program (FMNCP) is a healthy eating initiative that supports farmers’ markets and strengthens food security across British Columbia. Community partner organizations provide coupons to lower-income families, pregnant people, and seniors participating in their food literacy programs.

Vendors in the designated categories of food (vegetables, fruits, nuts, eggs, dairy, cut herbs, meat and fish) are considered “Farmer Vendors”.

– All farmers producing food (farm, dairy, meat and poultry) are subject to the “Guideline for Sales of Food at Temporary Food Markets” (link). Please refer to this document for further information. Only approved products that are made, baked, grown, raised, caught, or wild-harvested in British Columbia by the approved vendor can be sold at the DCCM. Absolutely NO Reselling Allowed.

– All products for sale need to meet the laws, regulations, and rules as specified by federal, provincial, and municipal bodies, local health authorities, DCCM, and the certifying body the vendor belongs to. It is up to the vendor to know and comply with the Provincial and Federal sales tax requirements.
